“Everything is fine. Their rooms are all sanitized. Our liaison manager, the medical team, are there in two rooms. They are all equipped with special masks, sanitizer. We have spoken to the players, they are fine,”
Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Avishek Dalmiya had said after the team’s arrival in Kolkata.
Following the team’s return to their homeland, the players were required to go into self-isolation for a couple of weeks and observe the medical protocol very stringently to stop the spread of coronavirus.
After returning home, the South African players asked to self-isolate themselves for a minimum of 15 days to make sure the safety of themselves and their close individuals.
