The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has asked the franchises of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to hold all matches in Pakistan. PSL Teams will quarantine in Karachi. On 15 January 2023, the Official and broadcaster will reach destinations. All teams will go to Karachi for the Opening Ceremony updated.
A source in the PCB said plans were being made to fly the foreign and local players to Pakistan by January 15, 2023. They can start their quarantine period and the tournament begins on January 27, 2023.
The Pakistan board has hired the services of an international company, Restrata, to manage the in Pakistan where the six teams will be put up at three different hotels in Karachi.
The PCB has decided and shared the authorities with the officials to hold all matches of the PSL 8 in Pakistan. Teams to start their mandatory 10-day quarantine from 15 January, with the first match scheduled for January 27.
A total of 34 league matches will be played through January 27, with the playoffs taking place between February 23 and February 24, and the final on Sunday, February 26, 2023.

According to sources, the players and staff of all the six franchises of PSL will require to undergo COVID-19 tests on Jan 15, 2023. They will require to submit their passports only after returning a negative result. The touring party will fly to the PAKISTAN via chartered flights and will be required to undergo a 7 to 10-day quarantine period upon their arrival to the country.
The PCB said that the tournament will continue after the players and officials undergo a seven-day quarantine period at one hotel and after three training sessions.
The matches of the PSL 2023 season 8 are to be held from January 27, 2023.
The team will stay in quarantine for seven days before the match in a hotel.
All participants will be subjected to a mandatory seven-day quarantine beginning on January 15.
