F1’s Chinese and Australian Grand Prix have been postponed, while several Six Nations rugby fixtures have been called off.
Italy’s Serie A has suspended as other matches around Europe are being played behind closed doors.
The coronavirus is continuing to spread across the globe at a terrifying pace, and athletes are not immune to the disease. Several athletes across the world have confirmed they have tested positive.

Tuesday night on 17th March, NBA spokesperson Mike Bass stated the number of active players who have received tests for the COVID-19 virus then.
“Public health authorities and team doctors have been concerned that, given NBA players’ direct contact with each other and close interactions with the general public, in addition to their frequent travel, they could accelerate the spread of the virus.
Following two players testing positive mid of March, others were tested, and five additional players tested positive.
