Pakistan’s renowned actors will showcase their cricketing skills in the show. Audiences get to witness a thrilling run chase to finish off the game. CPL Draft and soft launch ceremony were held on 3rd August in Serena Hotel Islamabad. 

A draft of CPL was announced from 23 to 27 September but In the light of recent developments and in the larger interest of the nation, ZEM Celebrity Premier League is being rescheduled so that the national T20 Cup could take place. The revised schedule is now playing from 6 OCT to 10 OCT, 2022.

It will be contested by four teams comprising of film and drama actors while representing four major regional backgrounds and each team playing 2 knockout- format matches.

About Cricket League:  

With COVID-19, everyone’s health and minds are at risk. The Celebrity Premier League can clear the air and boost everyone’s spirits. A cricket league has been introduced for the first time in Pakistani history by Media Sniffers in partnership with DE’ Concepts for Pakistan’s entertainment industry stars and media. 

The 60 celebrities will be divided into five teams and compete in knockout rounds. The CPL will make watching Pakistan’s favorite sport both thrilling and exciting.

Celebrity Premier League is carrying up collected Pakistan’s chief showbiz and drama businesses. In this Cricket League, Pakistan’s best actors will demonstrate their cricketing talents. They provide spectators with a thrilling run chase to compete and complete the game. Five teams of actors from film and television will compete. During the tournament, each team will play two knockout matches, representing five different regions.

As an official team for the Celebrity Premier League, the Karachi Royals have been announced with heartthrob Ali Zafar as their captain. Additionally, Karachi’s status as a royal city is due to its advantages, such as being Pakistan’s largest metropolis. Based on the same logic, we expect them to demonstrate excellent behavior on the field as well.
